Case Study:  Lesley University Library Move

 

Lesley University was completing library renovations on the ground and first floor including the replacement of carpet, painting walls and adding new shelving. Lesley contacted Olympia for moving and disposal. Working directly with Lesley’s Facilities Manager, our crew temporarily moved the books to the second floor so renovations could be completed. Attention to detail was important for this job. and books were placed on the carts by shelf, in order. The cart rentals for this move were provided by Olympia, along with bins and dollies.

After the books were loaded on carts and placed on the second floor, the shelves were removed and recycled. The room was now ready for carpet and paint. This is a typical move request from our clients. Once the carpet and paint renovations were complete, Olympia installed new compact shelving on the ground and first floor.
