Michael Gilmartin founded Olympia Moving & Storage in 1993 as a small moving company in Boston.  Michael’s team established its reputation by smashing the average mover stereotype and working harder, faster, and providing exceptional customer service. Olympia amazed its first clients by running up and down stairs in historic Boston walk-ups. Since then, Olympia has grown, diversifying business lines to become an all-encompassing residential and commercial moving company — from local and interstate household goods to commercial office moving, installation, decommissioning, logistics and facilities and events management. Olympia has branches in Boston, Washington-DC area, Philadelphia-area, Austin, Texas and Tampa, Florida. Olympia has built a reputation as a premier moving company and our mission is to exceed expectations, go above and beyond the moving industry standard and focus on exceptional service and personalized care.
