Doing business with Olympia was very easy, provided frequent communications and updates, they arrived on time and did a wonderful job moving my belongings. They never tried to pressure me into anything extra. They were polite and respectful, took care to wrap all of my things (didn’t even have to empty the drawers). We are very happy with our experience using Olympia Moving. Eddie did a virtual “walk-through” of our home to ensure that our moving needs were fully anticipated. The head of the team, Andre’, was very professional and obviously very experienced. His team of movers were all polite, and respectful of our home and our belongings. The men were efficient and effective at wrapping all of our furniture before it was loaded onto the truck. At our new house, they verified exactly where and how we wanted rugs and furniture placed. We were impressed and pleased with the entire team, and would definitely use them again!

I have used Olympia twice now, two different size moves, and during different times of the year. Both times were as efficient and seamless regardless of the size or when. Ryan and his team are absolutely amazing and make the process so easy, that there is not a worry or concern to be found!
First move was during their busy time in September on a weekend, I was moving an entire 2 bedroom apartment to a house. Ryan and Candy walked me through the entire process and provided guidance that by the time the crew came on moving day, it was basically just directing traffic to let the crew know what and where it was going.
The second move was during a slower time, December on a weekday, and the process was just as easy, even though it was only moving 3 items this time. This time I worked with Ryan and Jennifer, again everyone was extremely helpful. I also used their junking service which was a late add on and yet again another seamless process!
I have since referred two family members to work with Ryan and his team and will continue to do so. They will be my go to if I need any of their services in the future.

Movers were professional and respectful of my home and my furniture. When they moved it back in to the renovated home ,everything was in the same condition as it was before the move. They even moved a heavy sofa to the garage after I decided I didn’t want it anymore. Very pleased with the company.

Olympia Moving and Storage recently completed two residential moves for my family; one for my parents and one my immediate family. Both moves were flawless. Courteous, experienced and capable movers. The foreman clearly knew how to lead his team and execute a move. He checked in with me frequently and the rest of the team was incredibly professional. I would absolutely recommend Olympia to anyone planning a move. The quote process, pre move planning and follow up from the entire team could not have been handled any better.

I had to book a last minute move from DC -> NYC and Olympia was extremely helpful from start to finish. They were punctual, efficient, kind, and easy to work with. The move happened in the midst of a massive snowstorm and we only had to delay one day! I’d highly recommend Olympia for your next move!

We had a great experience with Olympia, better than any other move we’ve made. From estimate to booking to packing to unpacking, it was all smooth. Plus a manager called several times to confirm plans and see if we had any questions, which was nice. We had the same team for packing and unpacking. Steve headed up a team of four mighty movers. Every box was labeled and delivered to the appropriate room. Grace opened each wardrobe and put the clothes in the right closets and then removed all the packing materials. Then she helped me unpack the kitchen items. She unpacked everything while I put it away and then she got rid of all the kitchen boxes. So we were left with very few boxes to have to dispose of ourselves. Also, we had a couch which would just not fit through a doorway as its legs weren’t removable. We didn’t want to put it elsewhere, so the team arranged to donate it for us. That was a lifesaver. Finally, not an item was broken! Thanks Olympia Moving!

Dad’s move “take two”. My dad moved last year and Olympia did such a great job, that when I had to move my dad again, I knew who would take care of us. I recently had surgery, so I was unable to do as much as I did the last move. Olympia sent the best team of guys! Daniel, who was the lead and who helped us last year was once again, thorough and efficient. His team (Jason, Courtney, Sean, Jim, and Melvin) came in and packed up everything! Dad has lots of “precious items” from sculptures and vases, glass lamps, and lots(!) of artwork. The team took such care and didn’t mind when dad would ask questions or watch closely as they worked. Dad later said how impressed he was with how they wrapped. After unwrapping everything and helping us arrange the furniture where dad wanted it in his new place, I added two more stops to what was already a long day for them. They helped me deliver Dad’s couch and chair to a friend’s house, and several large items to my house. It was a rainy day, and they showed consideration by rolling out mats at the entry ways.
Jen was my point of contact in the office, and she made sure all my questions beforehand (and the day of) were answered and that logistics for the move were in place. She was very reassuring, as any move is hectic.

My wife and I moved last week and we couldn’t have had a more positive experience. Starting with the beginning conversations and virtual walk through of our house with Ryan to the incredible job done by the team that showed up at our house on moving day we couldn’t have been happier and well taken care of. Our team of movers were the absolute best; I couldn’t have asked for better! They were so friendly and easy to talk to, they were flexible and accommodating, and they worked incredibly hard from the minute they walked through the door until the minute they left. The only way I’d ever move again is if I could guarantee I had the same team of men. Additionally, we had two little ones running around (3 and 1) and the guys were great with them too! They were patient with the kids and talked with them throughout the day. Lastly, the men ensured everything was packed and moved perfectly; they were so careful with everything they handled. They moved me out of my apartment, took apart my couch, wrapped all my furniture, etc etc. They safely stored my belongings for the weeklong break I had between my two leases. Then, they moved me into my new apartment and set up all my furniture. My movers Edison and Carlo were incredible. They were present for both moves. They were so kind and helpful. You could tell how much experience they had. I trusted them with my belongings and was so impressed at the way they navigated the difficult hallways of my building and planned in terms of moving all my stuff out and in. Truly could not speak higher of them! Was so grateful that they were my movers. They made all the difference in lowering my stress for the moves. No damage to any of my belongings either. Jennifer, my move coordinator was communicative and responsive throughout this whole process. She was easy to reach, answered my questions, and helped me with anything I needed. It all comes down to planning. I took my cue from Olympia. I had everything boxed, labeled and ready to go with a clear path. While it was a local “in city” move, We only used half the time allotted. We received excellent service from Olympia/Wheaton. The driver, I believe his name is Rashod, out of the Washington, DC office was extremely patient with dealing with the small one way Philadelphia street and he throughly explained the moving process.. Danny and the team showed up ready to go and listened intently when there were specifics that needed to be attended to during the move. Our move was across the country with a warehouse stop while waiting for closing on our new home. The delivery persons were so jovial and helpful. They worked efficiently and placed everything where directed. There was one item that had been damaged in transit but they let me know, showed me photos of it and explained it would be repaired and delivered later. Shortly afterwards a representative called from the company to reassure me they have professional furniture repair staff to make the repairs and would contact me when ready for delivery. It was a small repair but I appreciated they took the initiative to repair as soon as it was identified. Highly recommend this company for their professionalism
It was a pleasure to work with Olympia. Candy was with us the whole move once Rebecca got us started. They both were patient, helpful and informative. I felt confident that Candy was there to help with any questions I had and to make sure the process went smoothly. Matt and Sean who picked up our boxes, etc in Austin were reassuring and helpful as were Joe and Tae who unloaded our things in Virginia. Tae maneuvered the truck up and down our little mountain road magnificently. I can honestly highly recommend them all. And, will certainly use them again when we complete the move with the rest of our furniture and artwork.
This is the second time in 8 years we have used Olympia and my husband and I highly recommend them. The first time was for a big move and just recently we used them for a smaller one, both coast to coast. From our first consultation, Adam Carter and his team have shown themselves to be responsive, professional and easy to work with. If we have to, we will certainly use them again!

The absolute best moving experience I have ever had! I had two moves back to back. Adam made it easy to schedule and had a quote for me quickly. The crew I had, Gary, Antonio and Austin were the BEST! They moved me the first time and I asked that I have them for the second move too.. They were professional and took great care of my items. However, what I liked best was that they were kind, funny and quick but careful. At the end I joked that I was going to invite them to Thanksgiving dinner! They felt like friends by the end of the process. I highly recommend Olympia Moving and Storage!

We needed to store the contents of our home for six months while we relocated to a different state. Olympia took care of both storage and moving and after six months delivered all the items to our new home, in a timely manner and in perfect condition including my wife’s prize possession, a baby grand piano.

I contacted Olympia for my A Stress-Less Transition clients who were moving locally. There were numerous logistics (and stairs) at both locations. It was suggested a 2 day move be orchestrated with packing/moving half the house one day and the rest the next. Worked out well! Jason, Dale, Lance, Eddie and Alex were terrific! They communicated well with each other, protected the floors, banisters and stairwell walls, had combined experience to foresee obstacles and worked together to resolve (i.e. a queensize boxspring would not fit in the stairwell, but they were able to get it over a balcony on the second floor in about 30 seconds.) They were respectful of my clients, their belongings and property as well as handling the tight parking situations at both properties with ease. Thank you!

We worked with a moving service, Organize Haven, in Winter Haven, FL. They did the packing and contracted with Wheaton for us. we did not get any other bids. Our only complaint with Wheaton was the switch of our car from on the truck to a car carrier. If we had known that was going to happen, we probably would not have signed the contract with Wheaton. Years ago, the same thing happened to us (with another company) and the car was lost and really banged up when they finally found it. In your case, the driver of the car carrier was wonderful, courteous and helpful. we were happy with his on time performance and the care he took with our car, BUT, we would never have even tried him out if we had the choice.
