From Joining the Team to Understanding the Process
Every new team member plays a vital role in a larger system designed to deliver exceptional service from start to finish. Understanding how each department connects ensures that every job runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.
The following workflow outlines how a move progresses through each stage of our operation:
- Conducts surveys/estimates
- Provides client expectations & commitments
- Hands off job details to Coordination
- Confirms scope of work with client
- Enters details into the system (materials, dates, services)
- Hands off finalized work order to Operations
- Reviews requirements and schedules trucks, labor, and equipment
- Ensures necessary packing materials and resources are available
- Assigns crew and briefs them on job details
- Executes the move according to plan
- Records materials used, hours worked, and exceptions/damages if any
- Returns documentation to Operations
- Collects and reviews crew paperwork
- Confirms accuracy of labor hours, materials used, and services performed
- Submits finalized job packet to Accounting
- Issues client invoice based on actuals vs. estimate
- Processes payments and closes out the job
