Your Rights and Responsibilities as a Moving Client
We believe in transparency and professionalism. As our customer, you have specific rights and responsibilities, and we’re committed to ensuring you understand each aspect of the moving process. Choosing an established, insured, and professional moving company matters, and we’re here to make you feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.
Local Moves
Are you moving locally? The bill of lading is an important document. This is your required contract with Olympia Moving & Storage. You will be sent a copy of the bill of lading when you book your move. You can sign the terms in your move portal, or the moving crew leader will request your signature on the bill of lading on move day.

Interstate Moves
Whether moving to or from Washington DC, Boston, MA, Philadelphia, PA, Austin, TX, Tampa, FL or elsewhere, we encourage you to download and read the handbook below, which was carefully prepared by the Federal Highway Administration and provided by Olympia Moving & Storage’s Interstate Moving Partner, Wheaton World Wide Moving.
Storage
In addition to moving services, many of our Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Austin, and Tampa customers utilize our storage services. Any storage with Olympia requires a storage contract. You will be sent the storage contract when you book your storage.
